From Christmas to the end of March Each year at the base of the Kitanomine ski area, Furano Tourism Association builds an incredible Snow Dome and Festival site. Kirin Beer has become our major sponsor by providing every guest with one of their special Winter Label beers to each guest. In Furano's Snow Dome, guests can drink in an igloo around 40m long with an ice bar chandeliers hanging from the ice ceiling. Every Saturday night sees Furano host a live band or musical performance and Kirin Beer Party. Guests can come and drink a wide range of beers from Kirin, as well as spirits and mixers and of course coffee and tea and soft drinks for the kids. Guests can take an ice block, hammer and chisel and carve their own glass from the ice, giving literally meaning to the term, 'a chilled glass'. Please see http://www.furanotourism.com for more information.
